Find your Axle Beam Front Passenger now!

Axle beams are just one of the many types of suspensions used in an automobile. Also known as solid axles, these beams are commonly found on trucks and other vehicles where durability, low cost and in some cases, offroading capability, are key factors.
Axle beams support one set of wheels, either front or rear, and act as mounting points for the springs and shock absorbers. Axle beams are normally suspended by leaf springs or coil springs. The lateral movement of the beam is controlled by a panhard rod, while the leaf spring prevents movement as well, if equipped.

The main disadvantage of an axle beam is that it does not allow independent movement of the wheels in response to bumps, something that independent suspensions often address.
